a person who lives well evensādhujīvīpi sinkssīdati;
henceTasmā such a onetaṁ should avoidparivajjeyya,
a lazy personkusītaṁ who lacks energyhīnavīriyaṁ.

secludedPavivittehi noble onesariyehi,
determinedpahitattehi who practice absorptionjhāyibhi;
constantlyNiccaṁ energeticāraddhaviriyehi,
astutepaṇḍitehi dwell withsahāvase”ti.
