as far asYāvatā, mendicantsbhikkhave, sentient beingssattā footlessapadā orvā with two feetdvipadā orvā with four feetcatuppadā orvā with many feetbahuppadā orvā with formrūpino orvā formlessarūpino orvā with perceptionsaññino orvā without perceptionasaññino orvā with neither perception nor non-perceptionnevasaññināsaññino orvā, the Realized Onetathāgato of themtesaṁ is said to be the bestaggamakkhāyati the perfected onearahaṁ the fully awakened Buddhasammāsambuddho.

worthy of donationdakkhiṇeyye supremeanuttare.

in the bestAgge teachingdhamme of those confidentpasannānaṁ,
in fading and stillingvirāgūpasame blisssukhe;
in the bestAgge Saṅghasaṅghe of those confidentpasannānaṁ,
in the field of meritpuññakkhette supremeanuttare.

to the bestAggasmiṁ a giftdānaṁ givingdadataṁ,
the bestaggaṁ meritpuññaṁ growspavaḍḍhati;
the bestAggaṁ lifespanāyu andca beautyvaṇṇo andca,
fameyaso reputationkitti happinesssukhaṁ strengthbalaṁ.

to the bestAggassa a giverdātā intelligentmedhāvī,
settled on the best teachingaggadhammasamāhito;
become a godDevabhūto a humanmanusso orvā,
reaching the bestaggappatto rejoicespamodatī”ti.
