not‘na the mindmanaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi, notna andca of mineme dependent on the mindmanonissitaṁ consciousnessviññāṇaṁ there shall bebhavissatī’ti.

not‘na feelingvedanaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi ……
notna perceptionsaññaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi ……
notna choicessaṅkhāre I shall graspupādiyissāmi ……
notna consciousnessviññāṇaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi, notna andca of mineme dependent on consciousnessviññāṇanissitaṁ consciousnessviññāṇaṁ will bebhavissatī’ti.

not‘na the dimension of infinite spaceākāsānañcāyatanaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi, notna andca of meme dependent on the dimension of infinite spaceākāsānañcāyatananissitaṁ consciousnessviññāṇaṁ will bebhavissatī’ti.
thus indeedEvañhi for youte, householdergahapati, to be trainedsikkhitabbaṁ.
therefore nowTasmātiha for youte, householdergahapati, thusevaṁ to be trainedsikkhitabbaṁ:
not‘na the dimension of infinite consciousnessviññāṇañcāyatanaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi ……
notna the dimension of nothingnessākiñcaññāyatanaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi ……
notna the dimension of neither perception nor non-perceptionnevasaññānāsaññāyatanaṁ I shall graspupādiyissāmi, notna andca of meme dependent on the dimension of neither perception nor non-perceptionnevasaññānāsaññāyatananissitaṁ consciousnessviññāṇaṁ will bebhavissatī’ti.

therefore nowTasmātiha by youte, householdergahapati, thusevaṁ should be trainedsikkhitabbaṁ:
whatever‘yampi myme seendiṭṭhaṁ heardsutaṁ thoughtmutaṁ knownviññātaṁ attainedpattaṁ soughtpariyesitaṁ exploredanupariyesitaṁ followed by mindanucaritaṁ by mindmanasā that tootampi notna I shall graspupādiyissāmi, notna andca myme dependent on thattannissitaṁ consciousnessviññāṇaṁ there shall bebhavissatī’ti.
thus indeedEvañhi by youte, householdergahapati, should be trainedsikkhitabban”ti.
