thoughkiñcāpi whateveryāni thosetāni for spiritual companionssabrahmacārīnaṁ diverseuccāvacāni dutieskiṅkaraṇīyāni theretattha zealussukkaṁ engagedāpanno ishoti, butatha for him there iskhvāssa keen regardtibbāpekkhā ishoti in higher ethicsadhisīlasikkhāya in higher mindadhicittasikkhāya in higher wisdomadhipaññāsikkhāya.
just asSeyyathāpi, monksbhikkhave, a cowgāvī with a young calftaruṇavacchā grass andthambañca grazesālumpati calf andvacchakañca watchesapacinati;
just soevameva indeedkho, monksbhikkhave, naturedhammatā thisesā of one accomplished in viewdiṭṭhisampannassa of an individualpuggalassa:

for him thisIdamassa fifthpañcamaṁ knowledgeñāṇaṁ attainedadhigataṁ ishoti nobleariyaṁ transcendentlokuttaraṁ unsharedasādhāraṇaṁ by ordinary peopleputhujjanehi.

of such kind‘yathārūpāya strengthbalatāya accomplished in viewdiṭṭhisampanno individualpuggalo endowed withsamannāgato, I tooahampi of such kindtathārūpāya strengthbalatāya endowed withsamannāgato’ti.
this for themIdamassa sixthchaṭṭhaṁ knowledgeñāṇaṁ attainedadhigataṁ ishoti nobleariyaṁ supramundanelokuttaraṁ unsharedasādhāraṇaṁ by ordinary peopleputhujjanehi.

strengthBalatā thisesā, mendicantsbhikkhave, of an individual accomplished in viewdiṭṭhisampannassa of an individualpuggalassa thatyaṁ proclaimed by the Realized Onetathāgatappavedite in the teaching and trainingdhammavinaye being taughtdesiyamāne findslabhati inspiration in the meaningatthavedaṁ, findslabhati inspiration in the teachingdhammavedaṁ, findslabhati connected with the teachingdhammūpasaṁhitaṁ joypāmojjaṁ.
theySo thusevaṁ understandpajānāti:
of such kind‘yathārūpāya strengthbalatāya accomplished in viewdiṭṭhisampanno individualpuggalo possessedsamannāgato, I tooahampi of such kindtathārūpāya strengthbalatāya possessedsamannāgato’ti.
this for themIdamassa seventhsattamaṁ knowledgeñāṇaṁ achievedadhigataṁ ishoti nobleariyaṁ transcendentlokuttaraṁ distinctasādhāraṇaṁ from ordinary peopleputhujjanehi.

thusEvaṁ endowed with seven factorssattaṅgasamannāgatassa indeedkho, O mendicantsbhikkhave, of a noble discipleariyasāvakassa it is naturaldhammatā well investigatedsusamanniṭṭhā ishoti for the realization of the fruit of stream-entrysotāpattiphalasacchikiriyāya.
thusEvaṁ endowed with seven factorssattaṅgasamannāgato indeedkho, O mendicantsbhikkhave, a noble discipleariyasāvako endowed with the fruit of stream-entrysotāpattiphalasamannāgato ishotī”ti.
this he saidIdamavoca the Blessed Onebhagavā.
satisfiedAttamanā thosete mendicantsbhikkhū of the Blessed Onebhagavato speechbhāsitaṁ approvedabhinandunti.
