soSo indeedkho Iahaṁ, brahminbrāhmaṇa, quite secludedvivicceva from sensual pleasureskāmehi secludedvivicca from unskillfulakusalehi qualitiesdhammehi with placing the mindsavitakkaṁ with keeping it connectedsavicāraṁ born of seclusionvivekajaṁ rapture and blisspītisukhaṁ the firstpaṭhamaṁ jhāna (absorption)jhānaṁ having enteredupasampajja I dweltvihāsiṁ.
