oh‘aho indeed thisvatāyaṁ Samītisamīti the wainwright’s sonyānakāraputto of thisimissā rimnemiyā and thisimañca curvevaṅkaṁ and thisimañca crookjimhaṁ and thisimañca flawdosaṁ would plane outtaccheyya, thus thisevāyaṁ rimnemi rid of curvesapagatavaṅkā rid of crooksapagatajimhā rid of flawsapagatadosā puresuddhā would beassa in the coresāre established (quote)patiṭṭhitā’ti.

just soEvameva indeedkho, reverendāvuso, whoye thosete individualspuggalā faithlessassaddhā, seeking a livelihoodjīvikatthā notna out of faithsaddhā from homeagārasmā to homelessnessanagāriyaṁ gone forthpabbajitā, craftysaṭhā deceitfulmāyāvino fraudulentketabino restlessuddhatā haughtyunnaḷā ficklecapalā talkativemukharā of scattered speechvikiṇṇavācā, in the sensesindriyesu with unguarded doorsaguttadvārā, in eatingbhojane knowing no moderationamattaññuno, to wakefulnessjāgariyaṁ not devotedananuyuttā, for the ascetic lifesāmaññe without regardanapekkhavanto, for the trainingsikkhāya notna keenly respectfultibbagāravā, indulgentbāhulikā laxsāthalikā, in backslidingokkamane leaderspubbaṅgamā, in seclusionpaviveke laying down the burdennikkhittadhurā, lazykusītā of feeble energyhīnavīriyā of muddled mindfulnessmuṭṭhassatī lacking awarenessasampajānā unconcentratedasamāhitā with wandering mindsvibbhantacittā witlessduppaññā dull-wittedeḷamūgā, of themtesaṁ venerableāyasmā Sāriputtasāriputto with thisiminā Dhamma expositiondhammapariyāyena with the hearthadayā the hearthadayaṁ as ifmaññe having knownaññāya planestacchati.

good‘sādhu indeedvata, sirbho, fellow monkssabrahmacārī from the unskillfulakusalā having raised outvuṭṭhāpetvā in the skillfulkusale he establishes (quote)patiṭṭhāpetī’ti.

supposeSeyyathāpi, reverendāvuso, a womanitthī or a manpuriso or youngdaharo youthfulyuvā fond of adornmentmaṇḍanakajātiko with head bathedsīsaṁnhāto a lotus garlanduppalamālaṁ or a jasmine garlandvassikamālaṁ or a liana garlandatimuttakamālaṁ or having receivedlabhitvā with bothubhohi handshatthehi having acceptedpaṭiggahetvā on the highest partuttamaṅge on the headsirasmiṁ would placepatiṭṭhapeyya;
