pr 3rd sg of antaradhāyati (verb)
Analysis. anta- (end, limit, inner) + radhāyati (places, puts); literally 'places within/at the limit', hence disappears from view or withdraws into concealment.
Etymology. From anta- 'end, limit, interior' (Sanskrit anta-, cognate with English end) + √dhā 'place, put' (with causative -aya-). The prefix anta- originally denoted spatial boundedness; the compound crystallized to mean 'go into the bounds', thus 'withdraw, vanish'. Cognate with Sanskrit antaradhīyate.
