aor 3rd sg of assosi (verb); aor 2nd sg of assosi (verb)
Etymology. From √su (hear, listen) with prefix a- (toward) and reduplication. The root √su is cognate with Sanskrit śru-, Greek ἀκούω (akouō, hear) via Indo-European *k̑leu-. The prefix a- reverses or fronts the action: "heard toward" in the sense of receiving sound.
