sandhi form (negative adverb)
Analysis. na + eva + idha: negative particle na (not) + intensifying particle eva (even, just) + locative adverb idha (here). The contraction suppresses the final -a of na before eva, and eva itself coalesces into the following vowel, yielding ne-vidha.
Etymology. From na (not; cognate with English no, Latin ne) + eva (emphatic particle; from PIE *h₂eu- sense of emphasis) + idha (here; from locative stem *idh-, cf. Sanskrit iha). The spatial sense 'here' combines with negation and emphasis to yield the exclusive 'not even in this place'.
