masc nom sg of susikkhita (adj)
Etymology. su- 'well, good' (Indo-European *su-, cognate with Greek εὖ eu- in eulogy, eu-logy) + sikkhita 'trained, instructed' (past participle of sikkhati 'learns, practices discipline', from *śikṣ-, cognate with Sanskrit śikṣati and distantly with Latin sequi 'follow' in the sense of 'following a teaching'). The prefix su- keeps its sense of 'well' or 'successfully' before the root.
