In the Theravāda tradition, the seven visuddhis are: sīlavisuddhi (moral purity), cittavisuddhi (mental purity), diṭṭhivisuddhi (purity of view), kaṅkhāvitaraṇavisuddhi (purity of overcoming doubt), maggāmagga-ñāṇadassanavisuddhi (purity of knowledge and vision of what is path and not-path), patipadā-ñāṇadassanavisuddhi (purity of knowledge and vision of the way), and ñāṇadassanavisuddhi (purity of knowledge and vision)—systematized in the Visuddhimagga.
