accusative singular masculine past participle of vasati (to dwell, live); or nominative/accusative singular neuter past participle
Etymology. Root √vas (to dwell, abide); cognate with Latin vastus and Sanskrit vāsa. The past participle vusita (from an older *vustita) shows phonetic reduction. In Buddhist texts, often used to mark completion of a monastic practice period (e.g., vassaṁ vusitaṁ, 'the rainy season has been spent').
